Monday, May 21, 2007 OMG guides! my internet is finally working. ok now i shall post abt SERIOUS things. erhemm.. i heard from quite alot of juniors that they have phobia for guides leh.. and mostly is due to the punishments.. am i too harsh on you all? u all can tell me frankly de la.. i wont beat u up. but actually i love guides partly cos of the punishments.. mayb sec 1s are still not very used to it and sec 2s oso.. but i hope all of u truly understand the meaning behind all these punishments. it is not to make u feel tortured or hate guides, but to let u noe u hav done sth wrong.. (and it's really effective, believe it anot) during our sec 1 time, whenever we hav no punishment for tat particular act, we will CLAP, and feel reali happy, cos we noe it's very rare for us not to commit mistakes. but now, it just seems tat having no punishment for an act is a WAY TOO NORMAL thing.. ( i really hope that we will get back to those days and feel encouraged when we have no punishments) our seniors had gone thru all these punishments and everything, and mayb even tougher than wat we tot that are harsh. if they can endure, why cant we? we are all humans. Last time, i keep having this feel that if one commits offence, the whole level will be punished.. tat's why we always make an effort to remind each other to bring this bring that. But surprisingly, we never blame that person for the mistake she made. once, i felt reali guilty that i caused the whole of sec3s to be punished.. but when i apologise to them, they jus say NEVERMIND LA.. WE ARE SEC3s AS A LEVEl. how true.. this is wat the S in 'guideS' stands for, all individuals come together and make up the company. WE ARE ONE! Xiuyi once said, " discipline in guides cannot only depend on one person''. yea.. everyone plays a part.. if u dun understand this, there's no way we are goin to improve guides.. mayb u dun feel this way, dun even see the need to improve guides. some ppl jus take guides as a CCA and nth else. but it's more than only tat.. ppl hav this mindset that "guides isnt my first choice, why shld i even be bothered abt it?" (guides isnt my 1st choice too) BUT.. since u have oradi entered guides, why not just put your heart and soul into it? it is not abt whether u like the CCA, but it is the feel of working hard for things you want.. i noe alot sec2s love guides.. i can see that.. sec1s too.. mayb u all jus feel neutral abt guides, but after a period of time, there will be this undying passion for guides in your heart!! haha.. (a bit over la) sometimes, mayb u feel that i keep picking on you, but it takes two hands to clap. i dun pick on u for no reason. u may feel that it's unfair why there are so many ppl wearing ankle socks and onli u get caught. (mayb it's becos u are suay?) no la, if u really feel that way, feel free to point out those that are wearing ankle socks too. although i strongly dun encourage u all to wear it in the first place.. ok la.. that's abt all i wanted to tell u all for a long long time. but no chance to say it.. but.. sometimes i feel reali useless not able to lead u all well, not trying my best.. i noe alot ppl dislike me or my way of handling things.. but sometimes i really dunno wat can i do.. if u all hav any ideas can jus tell me.. remember, guides is not abt one person, but the whole company.. i hope to do my best for guides.. and i hope that u all understand this too.. we can do it, together yimin Activities before June holidays
