Thursday, July 30, 2009 hi guides, reminder: fall in at the usual place by 2.15pm tomorrow in full guides uniform pls be punctual because we have to be ready in the hall by 2.30 pm remember to polish your trefoil, wear white canvas shoes, bring your hat just in case and tie plaits for people with long hair 30 min of lunch will be given after the photo shoot, so don't need to worry about your lunch sec 1s and 2s, your interest badges assessment will be after the photo shoot sec 3s will continue with the act as planned earlier -amanda Wednesday, July 29, 2009 this is just a repeat announcement about expenditure for guides: -if you happen to purchase anything for guides events or guides-related stuff, please pass the receipt to me within one week from the purchase date with your FULL name and class written on it. -take note that payments must be made in either cash or nets ONLY. (No NTUC link cards or member cards etc may be used for payments) -If you purchase anything for personal usage, please separate it in another receipt. Thanks, sirui Tuesday, July 28, 2009 Okay this is just a repeat of the announcements we made earlier, in case some of you didn't catch it. 1. Guides Cookies Sale - Deadline for both money and the list will be 11th August 2009, Tuesday, as Mdm Ong needs to submit everything on Friday. - Please note that you have to get your friends to sign on the list when they make their payment, for justification purposes. - If need be, please make a photocopy or note down the orders so it will be easier for you to remember who to pass the cookies too ^^ 2. Guides t-shirt design!(: - Get into groups of 2-3 (MAXIMUM: 4 -.-] and come out with a design for our new guides t-shirt! - Please remember you're designing for guides, so we will need to have our trefoil in front as always, and we need to see the words "River Valley Girl Guides" or "RVGG" or anything along that line. But other than that, spam your creative juices! - Deadline: Next tuesday. Submit to Yiyao. 3. Friday's procedures for photo-taking - Photo-taking will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. - Please fall in in your full guides uniform at 2.30 pm. - Bring along your 2nd u because there will be mass change. (Gd luck :D) - After mass change, then act will resume as per normal. (stated in the act) Remember what Yan Tong and Qing Yi said about the interest badges this friday! If any Sec 4 is reading this, please help to tell the Year 4s that they will have to assess some of us for our interest badges on Friday.
