Masquerade Rehearsal
Wednesday, May 30, 2012 Hello Guides! Just 3 more days and it is our Masquerade campfire! We will be having consecutive rehearsals from tomorrow onwards to do the fial preparation so JIAYOU! Below are the details for the rehearsals and the event on the actual day: 31 May 2012 Any school-based tee plus skirt 2 to 6pm 1 June 2012 2nd U 1 to 6pm 2 June 2012 (Actual event!) Half U 12 to 9pm To the year 1s, please note that you would not have to come on all of the rehearsals and would only need to turn up on 2 June 2012. The time which you gals would have to reach school on 2 June 2012 will be released at a later date, but it will definitely not be 12pm (: Jia you! Let's make this campfire a success! Above is the act for tomorrow. Xue Hui :D Thursday, May 3, 2012  Tomorrow will be one of the most important days of the year & I believe one of the most memorable moments for the year 1s! The year 1s are going to be officially part of the company after their enrolment ceremony (Yes! After so much testwork for enrolment, learning all the skills and getting used to the discipline level of UGs for the past few weeks!)! For that, we would be having a welcome party for them and pizza will be catered! :D We will be sitting and eating in patrols for the welcome party and having potluck! :D On the other hand, to make tomorrow's event a success, please take note of the following administrative detais. 1. For the year 1s, taking into consideration that you gals would have to change into your uniform for the first time, you would not be involved in the building of the flagpole. KF and Swallow please take note. 2. To clear all your doubts on how to wear the uniform, all year 1s, please gather outside the guides room at 2.40pm to meet the TCs (no need to change into your uniform first). After that you gals would be given time to change until 3.15, by which you would all have to be ready at the flagpole area. 3. Reminder to all on your uniform standards: Remember to make sure your attire is up to standard! Remember to iron your beret, make sure your RV logo can be seen, polish your trefoil (except year 1s), iron your scarf properly and wear canvas shoes tomorrow! 4. As for the year 2s and 3s from KF and Swallow, please quickly change into your full U after school and fall in straight away at the flagpole area with the necessary items (mallet, pegs, etc.) at 2.45pm so as to reduce wastage of time. You would not have to fall in outside the guides room before that. 5. Have a good lunch (but not too full!) tomorrow as we might have to staty stationary for quite long!
