Things to take note
Wednesday, July 31, 2013 Hi Guides, Please take note that whenever the flag is being lowered or raised, please stand at attention. This is not part of ndp procedure, this is about showing respect for the Singapore and RV flag. This applies to those who are not involved in ndp and are at the field or track too.
This also applies when the national anthem is being played. If you are having act when it is played, please stop all activities at once and stand at attention facing the flag.
For the NDP participants, please note that for the next few NDP rehearsals, the PC or the RSM will blow the whistle to signal flag raising or flag lowering, so be alert at all times and stand at attention when you hear the whistle. I will brief you all the details asap once I receive it.
Please take note that we will jerk our arms at "Ba" of Baris Sedia so that it will be more coordinated, but please be alert at all times so that you will not lag behind.
As for the belok, please note that you have to compact as a whole contingent and turn as a single file. If you are unsure of the alignment of the row, you can look left and right with the corner of your eye, but please be confident and don't do it so often as it will look like you are uncertain of what to do.
Finally, there will be no recollections or singing of My People My Home for both Boon Lay CC Observance Ceremony and the school NDP Parade.
All the best for Friday! It is our very last rehearsal before the Boon Lay CC Observance Ceremony so please treat it seriously and take this final chance to improve your marching and belok. Let's work hard and learn from any mistakes
