World thinking day competitions 2014
Sunday, October 13, 2013 Dear Guides, The theme for World Thinking Day 2014 is "Girls worldwide say, "Education opens doors for all girls". The details of the five competitions can be found below and guides from all 3 levels are strongly encouraged to participate in these competitions. 1. Vlog Submit a 5 minutes Vlog on how Girl Guides Singapore can achieve WAGGGS' Vision 2020. The WAGGGS' Vision 2020 is "All girls and young women are valued and take action to change the world". Upload to your Facebook or Instagram with #GGSWTD2014C1. 2. Poster Design Submit a 2-dimensional A3 poster which shows that your company has demonstrated thrift. 3. Band As a company, form a band and perform a selected song that is relevant to Guiding. 4. Animation As a group (no maximum/minimum group size limitations) , create an online interactive activity on innovative ideas or suggestions on "Water conservation" or "Water Education". 5. Blog Set up and maintain a blog that promotes international friendship. By January 2014, the blog should include at least 2 photographs, 2 videos and 5 posts. The blog should be kept active for 2014. Interested guides are to contact your patrol leaders by 15 October, Tuesday, 2359 to inform them on which competition you are interested in. Cheers, Pearlwin :) |
